Student Profile: K. Krakowska

When I searched for K. Krakowska Klara Ewa Krakowska was a match but since she was born on 20 Oct 1928 I didn't consider her. I searched under fuzzy settings and found another Klara Ewa Krakowski born 20 Oct 1923 and she lived at Alexhof 28 flat 26 and Marysin (not sure if Marysin was an address or not so I didn't add it). I decided to look back at Klara b. 1928 and found she also lived at Alexhof 28 and Franz 76. She moved on 15.3.42 and gives her occupation as ERZIEHERIN. I believe both Klara's are the same person, however, which birthdate is correct? If she was born in 1923 she would be a match for the High School but if she was born in 1928 she would have been to young to attend the school. Hopefully, in the next stages we'll be able to figure out her correct birthdate and see if she infact is K. Krakowska.

Given the similarities in name, date of birth and ghetto street address we can assume that both records represent the same person even though Klara Krakowska's birth year doesn't fit into the school's age range.                             I didn't find anyone else with the name Krakowska living at Franz 76. I did find living at Alexhof 28 flat 68 Symsio Krakowski born 1863 (he also appears as Szymsia Krakowski born 26 Dec 1863 and died on 7.8.42. He appears in the Lodz Death having died 6 Aug 1942). I also found SARA DWOJRA KRAKOWSKA born 26 Dec 1879 and she also appears as SURA KRAKOWSKI and SURA DWOJRA ALTMAN living at Alexhof 38 flat 69. Given the ages of Symsio and Sara I'm assuming they are perhaps Klara's grandparents.  I couldn't find any more information on Klara or her family.

Note that Franzstrasse 76 is an orphanage, so it is not likely we would find additional family members living there. I am sorry we could not find any more information on Klara at this time; I hope we can find more (and solve the mystery of her date of birth) as more resources become available.
