For Ber Pachciarek I found him as Ber Eliezer Pachciarek born 12/12/1933 and living at Sperling 7 flat 2 and deported on 10/09/1942.

Good work! I agree you've found the person who most likely signed the album. In 1941 he would have been 8 years old, the right age to attend school #21b; all the other candidates are far too old. Looking forward to seeing what you uncover in the next stages.

User Comment:

Ber was deported on 10/09/1942 and according to the secondary resources he was most likely sent to the Chelmno where he perished in the gas vans. There was a number of people living at Sperlinggasse 7 flat 2 and with the dates I couldn't determine which person fit better as Ber's parents.  Smycha Baruch born 6/01/1908, Mojzesz born 17/04/1904, Hela born 5/07/1904, Gitla born 11/12/1911, and Fajga born either 22/03/1884 or 06/01/1884 and died 11/04/1942. There was also Golda born 25/02/1932 and deported on the same day as Ber.

Thanks for your thorough research. I definitely see your confusion as to who his parents might have been! Golda makes a promising candidate to have been his sister.

It is safe to say that Ber likely perished at Chelmno, since you correctly surmised that a deportation in early September 1942 almost certainly points to Chelmno. You may enter that information onto this stage and complete a biography for Ber, if you wish. Thank you for helping to complete Ber's record.
