Student Profile: Lejb Abbe

In the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database there are three names, all the same, that match this student and would fit the date of birth peroid for him to attend school #18B. The dates of birth for two of the people who come up in the search are the same and the last one is off by one day. I believe that these entries are the same person as they are all male, and the first address listed for each is sperling 12. The second one has an occupation of schueler, which fits the student profile, and then the next one has a different occupation of spuler leading me to believe that when the schools closed down or prior to their closure he may have been forced to work in the ghetto. To find this student we had to do a fuzzy search since there is no one with the name Lejb Abbe listed, this led us to believe that the student may have mispelled his name or it is just a variation of vowels in languages or a hard to read signature in the book.
