User Comment:
Using the DM Soundex tool on both 'Sura' and 'Apolon', I came up with two names: Sura Opoljon and Sura Opoljan, both of whom were born in the same year (a year that puts them in the right age range for them to have signed the album), and had corresponding addresses.
Expert Reviewer Comment:
Thank you for adding the second spelling to her record!

I agree this is the student who most likely signed this name in the album. Thank you for adding the process note to this stage--I agree with your methods.

User Comment:
I have concluded that Moszek (b. 1891) and Rywka (b. 1893) were the parents of Sura (b. 1930), as well as Zysla (b. 1925), Laja (b. 1927), and Chawa (b. 1935).
With the exception of Moszek, who died of (currently) unknown causes on January 29, 1942, the rest of the family was deported on March 17, 1942, on which date there was a deportation to Chelmno.
Approver Comment:
I agree that she was deported to Chelmno, as there were daily deportations in March 1942 that ended there. Thank you for helping to complete Sura's record; you may add Chelmno as her place of death.
