User Comment:

The name we searched for was Golda Alberk. However, the search brought us two possible names: Golda Alber and Golda Albek, but both with the same street address. Their birthdays were different, too. We think they are the same person and there could have been an error when entering the information. Or they could just be related. We entered in both names as we went through each step. However, after the identity phase we had no luck finding anyone who matched either of the names. From the lack of information we are assuming that she died in the ghetto.

Approver Comment:
I agree that this is most likely the person who signed this name in the album. (Amusing that the name that was signed is an exact combination of Alber and Albek!) I also agree that both names and dates point to the same person, despite the slight differences in the date of birth. Remember to look for both the June and September dates in the next stages.

We cannot assume just because there is no information that she died in the ghetto--all that tells us is that there is no information! Keep trying, feel free to move on to another name, and know that we're finding new archival materials all the time--our next batch of data might have more information on her, so check back soon. Thank you!
