Gymnasium and high school for girls
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for girls was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

Halina changed address from INSEL 11 (11 or 13, its not fore sure which one) and registered at AM BACH 10

Good job! I think you are correct that Halina Fajfel is H. Fajfel, as Halina would be the appropriate age for the Gymnasium, and there are no other possibilities in the records.

User Comment:
We believe that Estera, Izaak, Moses, and Lipcza Fajfel are all related to Halina in some way. The couple we believed to be her parents, Lipcza and Moses, had changed their address the same day that was registered for Halina's address change and to/from the same place. In terms of Estera and Izaak, they both moved from ANDRZEJA 35 to INSEL 11 11, the same address as Moses, Lipcza, and Halina once occupied.

Good job. There is a strong possibility that Lipcza and Moses were the parents of Halina Fajfel. Because Moses, Lipcza, and Halina Fajfel all moved to the same address on the same date, it is more likely that Moses and Lipcza Fajfel are Halina's parents. However, we cannot be completely rule out Estera and Izaak Fajfel as possible parents. Thus, we must mark your research as possible. Thank you again for your time and effort.
