User Comment:
After doing some research on Zisl Aleksandrowicz, I have come to the conclusion that he might be Herszel Aleksandrowicz, who was born in 1928. The time frame for birth for students in attendance of School #5 was between 1926-1934 which might make Herszel a pretty good candidate to be Zisl. It does not, however, state Herszel's occupation on the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants source.

I agree this is the student who signed this name in the album. Thank you for correcting the street addresses.

User Comment:
Looking at Herzel's records, it says that his transport number was I. Looking at the secondary sources, I located Transport I and it seems that he was transported to Chelmno and killed in the gas vans on June 23, 1944.
I also did a search of last names under Aleksandrowicz and found several candidates for family members. It seems like some of the family members might be siblings, but I am not too sure, but they all definitely seem to be related. Ajzyk and Wolf Lajb Aleksandrowicz were both born in 1919, making them 9 at the time of Herszel's birth. They both worked, Ajsyk as a carpenter, and Wolf Lajb as a fuhrman (driver?). Chawa Aleksandrowicz was a student and also lived at the same first address, and was born a year after Herszel. Mindla Aleksandrowicz was 8 at the time of Herszel's birth and worked as a haustochter (maid?). Finally, Hilel Aleksandrowicz was also a student and was born 2 years before Herszel.
It is hard to determine which relatives are siblings, but all the names mentioned lived at the same first address given in Hamburgerstrass, but were moved to two different locations. Prezedborz and also another place on Hamburgerstrass.

I agree with your conclusions about his family. I also agree that it is possible that he was deported to Chelmno on transport 1, but I would like to see a date for his deportation in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants records before confirming this information.
