Gymnasium and high school for boys
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for boys was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
this is where I found what I think is his middle name
http://genealogyindexer.org/view/193940W/193940W%20-%200352.pdf
there was another ghetto adress, so im guesing that he was transported it was Litzman 12
Approver Comment:
I agree this is the most likely person to have signed the album, but I still do not think Leszno was his middle name--thank you for taking it out of the name field. I don't think he was transported, since General-Litzmann-Strasse and Hohensteinstrasse were both streets within the ghetto, but rather he moved or his family was forced to move within the ghetto. I look forward to seeing what else you find!
