Has anyone else had a chance to look at these records? They could be quite helpful!

These records not only may be quite helpful, they ARE extremely helpful. There are complete school and class lists for several schools that give the children's ages/birthdates, addresses and parents' names, thereby clearing up any doubts that might exist from other sources aobut their identities. See the USHMM's Finding Aid to RG 15.083M, schools section (Reels 308 onward) for a breakdown of the files which are in the Polish site under Section 25, Wydzial Szkolny. There are lists of students in various schools in files 1690 - 1697 (including specifically schools 10b, 23 and 25, as well others unspecified in the titles of the files). Files 1700 - 1708 are individual student cards that give names, addresses, parents' names, and schools. (I'm not sure in what kind of order they're arranged.) There are also many other lists and documents mentioning schools, students and teachers. The Polish State Archives' placing the Lodz Ghetto collection online is an incredible resource!
