An additional way to confirm whether a student from the Lodz ghetto survived, is to search archives to see whether he or she submitted postwar testimony. This provides the added benefit of filling in details of the person's story.

Several video and audio testimony archives are available online, including:

The Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies at Yale University
http://www.library.yale.edu/testimonies/index.html

The Voice/Vision Holocaust Survivors Oral History Archive at University of Michigan
http://holocaust.umd.umich.edu/interviews.php

The Voices of the Holocaust project of the Illinois Institute of Technology
http://voices.iit.edu/index.html

You may also search the oral history archives catalogue of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to see if the museum interviewed any school children from the Lodz ghetto. In some cases, interview transcripts are available online.

Tens of thousands of video interviews from the Visual History Archive of the Shoah Foundation Institute at University of Southern California are available for viewing at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (as well as several other sites around the world).
