In most other examples of genocide where the United States has been asked to get involved, there are political and/or economic factors that prevent legislation from being approved such as loans, profitable trade, and issues with iran in the Iraqi Kurd genocide. What if any are the political/economic issues preventing the United States to get involved in Darfur?
