Readings by Iakovos Kambanellis, one of Greece's most renowned poets and playwrights. In 1942, Mr. Kambanellis was arrested by the Gestapo in Austria and sent to the Mauthausen concentration camp until 1945, when he was released. While he was there, he wrote detailed notes about his experiences in the camp and in 1963 published the novel in prose, Mauthausen.
