Victor Klemperer documented each act of Nazi aggression he witnessed in a secret diary that would serve as a record for the future. Klemperer was a Jewish professor at the Dresden Technical University when he and his non-Jewish wife watched in horrified disbelief as they found themselves living within the grip of Nazi tyranny.
