FIGHTING THE FIRES OF HATE: AMERICA AND THE NAZI BOOK BURNINGS

Host Requirements

Exhibition includes:
  • Approximately 60 free-standing panels, featuring reproductions of photographs, newspapers, documents, posters, and books
  • Audio-visual kiosks
  • Brochure for distribution to visitors
Exhibition requirements:
  • Gallery space between 800 and 1,200 square feet (exhibition arrangement flexible)
  • Secure, locked exhibition space, staffed during open hours
  • Gallery lighting; exhibition is not self-lit
Exhibition period:
  • 8 weeks, longer exhibition periods may be available
  • Tour ongoing
Host institution fees:
  • $2,500 rental fee
  • Cost of door-to-door transportation of the exhibition to the next venue; shipping is arranged by the USHMM
