National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) acquires, preserves, and makes available for research records of enduring value created or received by organizations of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the Federal Government. A relatively substantial amount of the NARA holdings relate to World War II and are held in its facility in College Park, Maryland. The National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, MD maintains a web site for records and research relating to Holocaust-era assets. This site also includes a comprehensive annotated bibliography to relevant publications and documents.
Spoils of War Newsletter
The Federal States of Germany founded the Koordinierungsstelle der Länder für die
Rückführung von Kulturgütern (Coordination Office of the States for the Return of Cultural Treasures) to research missing objects. The Koordinierungsstelle's biannual newsletter The Spoils of War can be found at:
