Zionist Youth Groups

Zionist associations like Ha-Shomer ha-Tsa'ir and Dror served as important vehicles for organizing cultural activities and disseminating Zionist ideology among young Jewish DPs. Besides representing a means for rehabilitation in the company of other young survivors, the groups also offered foster care for many orphans.
