Gabersee

Gabersee was a DP camp in the Munich district, located near Wasserburg in the American zone of occupation. It opened on March 29, 1946, under UNRRA auspices. The Jewish population averaged 1,750 people in the years 1946-49. On June 30, 1950, Gabersee closed.
