Romani (Gypsy) men, guarded by Ustase (Croatian fascists) and German soldiers, at forced labor constructing an internment camp, probably Jasenovac in Croatia. The Croatian Ustasa regime allied with Germany in World War II and implemented its own killing program. The Croatian regime killed as many as 50,000 Roma in Yugoslavia.
