Biography

William Shawcross

William Shawcross is a widely renowned writer and broadcaster whose articles have appeared in the Sunday Times, the Sunday Telegraph, the Washington Post, and the Sydney Morning Herald. His numerous books include the recently published Justice and the Enemy: Nuremberg, 9/11, and the Trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (2012), Deliver Us from Evil: Peacekeepers, Warlords and a World of Endless Conflict (2001), The Shah’s Last Ride: The Fate of an Ally (1989), Sideshow: Kissinger, Nixon and the Destruction of Cambodia (1979), and Dubcek (1970). He is the son of one of the lead prosecutors at the Nuremberg trials.
