Louise Mushikiwabo
Louise Mushikiwabo was born in Rwanda, but has lived in the United States since 1986. She is co-founder and president of The Rwanda Children’s Fund, a charitable organization in the metropolitan Washington area that raises funds to sponsor Rwandan high school teenagers orphaned by the genocide. She is writing a book on the Rwandan genocide with the working title King Solomon’s Crimes, to be published in the Spring, 2002. It is the story of her family with a historical and social context of the genocide as its backdrop.
