Patrick Mazimhaka
Patrick Mazimhaka is the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission. He was elected to this office by the Heads of State and Government at a Summit held in Maputo, Mozambique, in July 2003, and assumed his duties on September 16, 2003. Before joining the African Union, Mazimhaka had served in several Cabinet posts and in Advisory Capacity to the Government of Rwanda from 1994-2003.
