Roberta Cohen
Roberta Cohen is a Senior Fellow at Brookings Institution in the Foreign Policy program and the Senior Adviser to the Brookings-LSE Project on Internal Displacement, which she co-founded and co-directed. She previously served as Senior Adviser to the Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Internally Displaced Persons, as a public member of the U.S. Delegation to Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and as a public member of the U.S. Delegation to the U.N. Commission on Human Rights. She has worked as a consultant to various international institutions such as UNHCR and World Bank. Cohen also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Rights in the Department of State and as Senior Adviser to the U.S. Delegation to the U.N. General Assembly and Commission on Human Rights.
