Overview
The Committee on Conscience regularly hosts presentations related to the prevention and punishment of genocide. In lectures, panel discussions, films, and interviews, analysts offer expert insight into the places where genocide has occurred and the questions of how to prevent and punish it. A Progress Report with General Roméo Dallaire
General Roméo Dallaire, former Commander of the UN peacekeeping force in Rwanda during the genocide in 1994, joined the Museum for 2010 Days of Remembrance. General Dallaire spoke about his experiences in Rwanda 16 years ago and the importance of increasing the will and capacity in government to respond to genocide today.

President Obama’s Days of Remembrance Address
