Hitler, 1941
German chancellor and Nazi party leader Adolf Hitler was probably the most satirized Axis figure of World War II. His toothbrush mustache, outlandish ideas, and histrionics made him a perfect target for cartoonists and comedians. Szyk's many depictions of the Nazi leader range from the gesticulating buffoon to the sinister mass murderer.
