Benchmark 1: Students will understand the religious, social, and political causes of the Holocaust, and analyze its long-term effect on American and international foreign policy (page 37).
Strand: II. World History
Sub-strand: Global conflict, 1914-1945 (Western Civilization)
Standard: The student will demonstrate knowledge of the worldwide impact of World War II.
Benchmark 2: Students will understand and analyze impact of the Holocaust and other examples of genocide in the 20th century (page 46).
