Legislation:
On June 1, 1999 the Alabama State Legislature passed an act, HB140, to establish the Alabama Holocaust Commission. The Commission will "Provide assistance to the public and private schools, colleges, and universities with respect to implementation of Holocaust education and awareness programs."
