Thomas G. Arnot Education Foundation Workshops for Teachers in Hawaii

October 13 - 16, 2003

In October 2003, through the generosity of the Thomas G. Arnot Education Foundation and via a partnership with The Kamehameha Schools and the Hawaii Department of Education, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum presented four one-day workshops on the islands of Maui, Hawaii, and Oahu. These workshops, facilitated by Warren Marcus, Director of Teacher Workshops and Conferences, also included testimony from Nesse Godin, a Holocaust survivor from Lithuania who now resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, and historical presentations from Dr. William Meinecke, Education Division historian.

Educators interested in workshops or conferences in their region or at the Museum may contact nationaloutreach@ushmm.org.
