The workshop is free of charge to middle and high school teachers and includes books and teaching resources from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Teaching about the Holocaust: Dallas Area Teacher Forum on Holocaust Education

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, in cooperation with Region 10 Education Service Center, is sponsoring a three-day forum on teaching about the Holocaust.
This forum will explore the content, methodologies, and rationales for teaching the history of the Holocaust; increase teachers' knowledge of the Holocaust; and examine contemporary issues associated with this history.
Participants will receive:
• Certificates of attendance and in-service credit (teachers earn 18 hours of CPE credit for attending all three days)
• Complimentary one-year memberships to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
• Breakfast and lunch each day, as well as a variety of books and educational materials
• Full funding for substitute teachers for those who attend all three days
This free educational program is made possible by donors to the Museum's Dallas Initiative on Holocaust Education.
