Committee on Conscience Intern
Duties and Responsibilities
Intern will be asked to participate in a wide range of Committee on Conscience activities including research work for the Web site; an exhibition in development; support for outreach activities involving various audiences; and administrative support. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: news stories for the Web site; coordinating departmental resource distribution; communicating with CoC constituencies and answering questions from the public; and assisting with marketing and public relations projects.
Qualifications/Skills
The Committee is looking for an individual who will be a valuable addition to a busy team and who will be fully engaged in responding to the ongoing crisis in Darfur, Sudan, while continuing to monitor other threats of genocide and related crimes against humanity around the world. A significant interest in the Holocaust/genocide and contemporary world politics is important. Incumbent must either have or be pursuing a degree from an accredited university. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, online research skills, and a high degree of organization and ability to work independently are necessary.
