2012 NEW YORK TRIBUTE DINNER
Honoring the Halpern Family and the Pantirer, Pines, and Schwartz Families
Three Generations of Commitment and Service
Guest Speakers: Elie Wiesel, Founding Museum Chairman
Sir Ben Kingsley, Academy Award-Winning Actor
Each year at the New York Tribute Dinner, Museum leaders and friends gather to support the global educational impact of America's national Holocaust memorial. As we launch the Museum's 20th anniversary commemoration this year, we honor three generations of the Pantirer and Halpern families. For over two decades, they have been among the Museum's most generous leaders and visionaries. Their involvement began with the commitments of Eva and Arie Halpern z"l, Gladys and Sam Halpern, and Lucy and Murray z"l Pantirer - survivors devoted to building the Museum. The legacy of these founding families continues with the exceptional dedication of their children and grandchildren whose support of Holocaust education and genocide awareness will continue to shape the Museum for decades to come.
