The president of the commission is Tina Anselmi, a former minister and member of the anti-Fascist resistance in World War II. Among the commission’s members are senior government officials from various ministries and archives, directors of the associations of bankers and insurance companies, as well as historians and representatives of the Jewish community. In 1999, the commission issued an interim report. The commission's final report was submitted in April 2001.
